I was just curious if anyone has seen a company offering some sort of an intake manifold spacer. A kid at my school had one on his RSX, made of plastic composite i believe. It is used to prevent heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold. I've done some searching and haven't come up with anything for the GA16DE. Has anyone seen one for it?
There was a company who had been inquired about this. I know Wes was heading it up as he was wanting them for his car. The last I saw he was asking about interest as I don't think they were made for the GA16 yet. Search for that thread or ask him directly or he might respond to this thread directly. For an NA engine it might not do so much but it is proven technology. Good luck.
if you go to the website, you won't see anything for the GA16. However, if you e-mail them and/or call them, they will tell you that when you send in your order to let them know what year, make, model, etc. . . so they can make sure to get the right part. They do have them, they are not that expensive, and they are pretty kool people. They just hadn't updated their site with our part yet.
