hey i need some help. i overheated my engine and now i want to replce it with a good one(a racing engine). i have a nissan sentra 94. can anybody help me out.
Look through the search function here. It is pretty complete and I have found a lot of useful information. Once you have searched and if you can't find something most of the veterans here will help but they tire of answering the same questions time after time. To swap from a GA16 to an SR series (whether DE or VE) will require an engine and a transaxles as well as a bunch of ancillary parts. Ebay can be your friend. Budget a couple of grand for a swap and then be ready to add more cash as you go along. (And that is just if you want to do a SR20DE swap, double what I have estimated for a VE and double it again for a turbo installation, if you're going to do it right).
Well... it's your preference. Personally I like the SR20VE, lots of top end power... There's the typical SR20DE which is good all around and then there is the SR16VE which is pretty good too...
Depends on what you want to do with your car... (Rally, Drag, Sprint)
