This was the best run my car did at the 1/4 mile with slight slipage on the clutch and me 240lbs. It proved to me that these engines have lots of potential, if my clutch werent sliping i think it might of gotten a 16.8 in the 1/4. Beefing up the power to at least 140hp can have you running high 14 just my calculations.

This has been my trusting and reliable every day go to work car, nothing but 1 flat tyre and an oil leak that was quickly fixed for the last 5 years. If the motor goes, another GA16DE will happily take its place.
1/4 mile time can be improved by not changing into 4th gear with 20 metres to go on the damn strip stupid I know! 3rd gear can easily handle 145 km/hr. Next race day 16th November 2007 NightSpeed DragWars Meremere will post next times. The 1/4 mile time prior to this one posted was a 17.366 with a .145 reaction time I can't change gears for !@#$ so might look at getting Short Shifter Kit.

First time at the track. Didn't know what to launch at (3000 rpm??). Hints are welcomed.
Modifications Since: OBX Headers, Custom 2 1/4 exhaust with Apexi N1 Muffler, Eibach Pro Kit (1.4" drop), B&M Short Shifter.
Hoping for 16.9 and dream goal is 16.5
