The best air fuel controler??????

So I was wondering what, if any, air fuel piggy back system you all are using to tune the air fuel mix on the GA16. I have a hotshot header, Hotshot CAI, and have a high flow magna flow cat, with a 2.25 inch exhaust system. The gas mileage has gone down abit and it seems to be running rich. I havent advanced the time yet but want to be able to tweek the mix, Any suggestions as to what to do? Thanks!!

Sounds like you are headed in the right direction with your mods. Before I did any tweaking I would put the car on a wideband/dyno and see what the actual AF ratio is. Then make a determination as to weather or not your assumption is correct. This is certianly cheaper than a good AF controller if it turns out to be running right, and will also tell you how far you have to go with it.

The SAFC is something a lot of people use and it appears to work pretty good, although if it is only marginally off then perhaps an AFPR might be enough adjustment to lean it out a bit. Again knowing where it actually is on an accurate wideband would tell you what the best route is.

Cool thanks, I do plan on getting it on a dyno in the next few weeks to see where its at. I am curious to see the HP gains I have made with the mods that I have. The next step for me after getting it tuned is JWT cams and ECU. But I also want to race this car SCCA style and im not quite sure where I need to stop the mods in order to be in an approprate class. I also need to get a tach in this car, I was looking for a set of SE-R gauges but they seem hard to find, any suggestions as to an alternative? Thanks again!

If you are 100% sure your going to do the JWT cams and ECU I would wait on the AF controller.

As far as Scca are you talking autocross? If so then I would approach it one of to ways. Either research a specific class you want to run and prep it to the limit of the rules of that class. OR if you are just going to run it for fun, build what you want and don't worry about what class you wind up in!
