silver93sentra Nissan Enthusiast Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: White Bluff, TN Posts: 153	Governor replacement OK, I have had to replace my governor gear twice ...I ordered another one today and the last time I had this problem was Thanksgiving. Does anyone know how to keep the gear from stripping? Would I be better off saving up and buying the whole assembly from Nissan so I can get a metal gear? or should I just keep spending $5 and inconvenience time to have a quick fix for the problem?
