turbo 1.6L - Wes help

alright im posting this specifically for Wes but if anyone else has any input please feel free.

we're going to turbo my 1.6L 200sx for shits and giggles. it's going to run low, 5-6psi.

we have the turbo, we're fabbing a hotshot style manifold to clear the alternator and all that jazz. we are securing a side mount intercooler from a talon. the question is, the stock GA16DE injectors do not provide enough fuel for 5-6psi correct? they're like 185cc right? we're wondering the question because we've heard the stock SR20DE injectors flow 259cc which is good for 200hp. since we won't be making near 200 crank, more like 160 those injectors should be sufficient correct? and should we get the fuel rail from a sr20 also or are they direct plug?

the MAF. the maf i've heard can handle 180-200 hp is that also correct? we're thinking of nabbing one off of a 240SX since the plugs are the same, but we'd need to run a piggyback type of fuel management such as a SAFC to control instead of running the stock GA16DE MAF with a pressure switch to increase and decrease flow at needed rpms or when boost is present.

if anything should anything else be removed from the SR20 engine to be used for this project other than the injectors / fuel rail or should everything on the GA be sufficient?

as i mentioned this is just for fun as it will be low, low boost with a SMALL turbo. the turbo itself is only a .48/.63 Air Research off of a 1986 200SX CA18DET engine so even 160 crank might not even be there, but it's for fun.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

You can use the SR injectors but will need a means of controlling them. The MAF will top out at about 170 WHP. Again if you go to the 240 MAF you will need a means of controlling it. This ultimately leads to an e-manage or JWT ecu.

If you go e-manage just use the additional map sensor to piggyack the stock MAF.

I know that link inside and out. It really does not speak to his specific questions...

There is life outside this forum you know

Nissanperformancemag.com and notnser.com pretty much document the buildup.

well, i'm back. been busy and crap. the manifold has been made and everything is fitted. i decided to go with 370cc injectors to be safe, a LC1 with a SAFC II for tuning. as of now the car isn't boosting, it's bypassing until i can get on a dyno to properly tune it. what a bitch and a half to install, it's slung all the way towards the drivers side of the car to clear everything

If you have a B14 good luck. Search for posts that I made abotu this. It bolts up but does not have the IACV or FICD built in. As such you will have to sort out those items for it to work properly.
