i have everything remove (belts, etc...) all i need now is to take the crank pully off to install a new front main seal. i dont have an impact wrench on hand so how would i go about taking this bolt off? even after putting the car in gear and holding the break firmly the nut wont budge (if u have done this job u will know what i mean) plus there isnt a whole lot of room for movement in the wheel well. any tricks. quick responces would be great. thanks
You might want to try a big ass breaker bar you can even use a pie as an extension to the bar to gain more leverege. Only trick I can think of without using an impact.

good thought haha. well i got it done. i borrowed a shitty impact wrench. wouldnt even break it loose. i got an idea form slamed150 when i was talkin to him on AIM. his idea was to get socket extensions to bring to ratchet outside the wheelwell (a breaker bar also). worked great. took 10 seconds. as for everything else, it all went real smooth. took a total work time of about 3 hours if any is interested.
this is what I did. I placed the wrench handle against the side of the frame and then cranked the engine using the starter to loosen the bolt. This works, just make sure the handle of the wrench is tight against the body metal. I thenused a wedge like a metal chisel and just slightly tapped around the entire pully, it popped right off. To tighten, I put a crew driver in the hole of the pully and against the engine piece and then torqued the bolt on at the right amount.
