Head gasket to shit, need to replace. should i get a new engine?

My girlfriend has a 97 sentra, no bells no whistles. Her head gasket is done and it needs to be replaced. I have started on taking apart the engine, but am wondering if she should just replace the engine. All feedback is welcome, aslo if anyone could give me some links to the place where I could purchace a headgasket or engine for the car. I tried but pepboyz didn't carry it.

If it's just a head gasket why would you feel the need to replace the engine?....Did you see major damage to the engine while taking it apart? If not, replace the gasket. Get one at AutoZone or AdvancedAuto....or you can get one fast and cheap online at www.rockauto.com
