i need to drain my fluid and replace. im not sure the capacity of the transmission or the type. i have a 92 nissan sentra with an auto transmission the shifter has 1 2 d n r and p

i read in the hynes manual is 12.4 pints...is that true? so thats about 6.4 quarts

I just recently swapped my wifes tranny for another one, and it holds 7.1 quarts of mercron/dexron 3,4,or5 or what ever is one the shelfs now.

Dont make the mistake and change the screen/filter. If you do then you will be leaving out the middle bolt cuz of the nut on top of the valve body moves, not letting the bolt go back correctly.
