i have the "squeeling starter" problem for about few months now...but now i want to replace it...i read some threads on the Hitachi starter that squeels...i looked at mine it's the Mitsubishi brand which should be better...but i need to replace it...

so i look online to purchase one...but there's like a few different types which i dont know what to buy...

there like different brands (denso, bosch, nsa & aftermarket)...which is the best brand?

then the fit type...manual trans california or manual trans except california...??? i duno which one...

they got a aftermarket one with fit type "w/MT California (Mitsubishi) (.9KW)" for like $80...but is it compatible?

or could someone gimme a website that has non-complicated list to buy starters at a non-ridiculous price?

I had my starter rebuilt; cost me 50 bux.

If you're handy with the tools and can remove it yourself then why not.
Most auto shops will rebuild it for cheap. Pretty easy job if they know what they're doing.
