1999 sentra 1.6 timing chain

I use my 99 sentra for gettin to and from work 35 miles ea way.
I currently have 130,000 on the engine and it is defently loosing some oomph.
I dont belive the timing chain as ever been replaced nor the tranny fluid replaced. I run Mobil 1 full syn in the engine and after 3000 miles still looking preaty clean can still see the metal threw the oil.

should the timing chain be replaced now I does it need to? I have been told chains dont need replacing untill they rattle and its not making any noise on start up. also what tranny fluid do you guys recomend in the auto

The timing chain tensioner will fail before the chain will. In your situation you should not be worried with the chain like said before, unless you are hearing the rattling or other similar sounds.
When was the last time you did a total tune-up? Im talking cap, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cleaned your throttlebody and IAC valve, and fuel filter?

15000 miles ago I did Cap rotor plugs and wires.

3000 miles ago I did the fuel filter. and just this week I did a new batt.

I have not taken the IAC off nor the throttle body for cleaning. I take it you would recomend it. for the IAC just use some electrical contact cleaner? or carb cleaner? what else would you recomend.
