y is that? the reason i ask is because i think my cat is whacked. i was gonna get a HS header to replace it.... but if i have to buy OEM one to pass smog....

-running rich(25MPG/soot in muffler tip/white somke(i think this is a sign) etc.

-rattleing noise from the muffler, sounds like echoing
-when i start car in the morning, no somke comes out exhaust, and the pressure output is very weak. after it warms up ALOT of smoke and water start coming out exhaust and the pressure out is much greater
-cat glows at night, so much one night i could see the ground screw on the alt glowing redhot too
unless you think somthing else is causing this...
and BTW will there be problems if i run a HS header w/ stock ehaust(catback)

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! youre cat is not blow. Get that sh*t out of your head. You are just a hypocondriac. You would smell sulfar if your cat took a sh*t. You cat glows from running at high rpms and possibly overheating if your thermostat went bad. honestly, do you ever read what i post, cuz i have giving you every reason/possibility of what is wrong with your car.

actually there is a hole in the cat, the bolt on the bottom of the manifold fell out and thats hissing
