Everytime I am at a complete stop or just idleing and I turn the wheel the car squeals. I am assuming that this is the power steering belt being loose would that be correct? Also if so, Where is the adjustment to tighten it? Is there a easy way to do it. I looked and I think it is buried.

Thanks
check the PS fluid level. It can be low..

well if ur are using power sterring fluid the b13 sentras spit that out like water from a loose pipe u have to try filling it wit automatic trans fluid and this is in another forum im not the only one
a B13 is a nissan sentra made between 1991 and 1994. the B13 is the body style, since the 91-94s all had the same body.
every nissan made uses automatic transmission fluid in the power steering. it's very important that ONLY ATF is used. it's not uncommon. toyota, mazda, and even ford specifies ATF in the power steering system. if you're using the clear stuff, save that for your chevy. it's a leak waiting to happen in our cars.
the fluid in the reservoir should be red - the color of ATF. if it's the clear fluid, you should drain it out and add fresh ATF. if you're still squealing with enough of the right fluid, it's very possible that the belt is loose. a bearing could also be bad. the belt for the power steering is also shared with the water pump, and can be tensioned at the power steering pump. it's not a fun job to do. just check the tension and let us know. if the tension is ok, you might have a bearing going bad. I've heard lucas power steering restorer is good stuff for that, but I haven't actually tried it.

now that fucks me up. my PS rack is basically shot, so i've been adding sealant adn PS fluid mix like most people whould (I hope). SO have I been doing more harm than good?

couple quick questions about powersteering...
-if there was ATF in the PS resv. and i added PS fluid would it cause porblems?
-and how do you drain and refill the PS fluid?
no, I don't think it would cause any immediate damage. as long as you have some lubrication in the power steering system, you should be in good shape. second, to drain the power steering reservoir, disconnect the hose on the bottom (the one on the side facing the front of the car) and put something underneath to catch it. take off the cap/dipstick and pull out the little screen filter in there. once it's all drained, pull the coil wire off and crank the engine for a few seconds to turn the pump a few times. then put that hose back on and fill the reservoir with fresh ATF. start the engine and make sure it mixes. you should see the ATF actually start to circulate in the reservoir.

ok... umm damn i forgot whats i was gonna ask....................................... o ya! say i ran the car with the PS pressure switch unplugged, would there need to be fluid? or is there any other way i can drive the car with the PS completely disabled? i want to test a couple things
