frankenstein transmission

Hey,
I know there are ECU swaps and chips to modify engine settings, but what about auto tranny settings. Shift points and speed, etc.

Not on the 1.6L transmission. No ecu control minus the VSS.

Well....you CAN upgrade the torque converter...that will give you a higher stall speed (better launch - from higher rpm), and you can do the valvebody upgrade. My torque converter just arrived today, hopefully I'll have it installed by next week.

Well,
I'm not so concerned about launch as I am upshift mapping and gear holding.

Well if that's what you want then get the Level 10 shift kit. It will up the shift points to 'performance orientated' shifts... meaning it will go to redline if you keep your foot on the pedal...
