I recently installed a B&m SPORT SHIFT SHORT SHIFTER AND IT WORKS GREAT. GOODBYE RALLY STYLE SHIFTER. THE NEW SHIFTER IS SUBSTANTIALLY SHORTER AND THE THROWS HAVE BEEN SHORTENED A GOOD DISTANCE. BECAUSE B&M MANUFACTURES IT I KNOW IT WILL LAST. IT COST ME $250 CANADIAN AND I HAD IT INSTALLED BY NISSAN.
i think you should throw in the extra dollars for a b&m, because this is the shifter you are talking about. shifting is something you do a lot, and this would be worth the investment for a b&m...
i have the pacesetter in mine and i love it. before the pacesetter, i had an ebay ss. dont cheap out in this area...my cheapie snapped off in my hand late one night and i was stuck in 3rd gear.
Yeah, you should get the B&M shifter it's the best one I've tried so far. All my friends have it too. It will cost you around $130-$145 but is worth it.
i was looking on the net, i can't tell how much shorter the shifters will be? do they come with a new stick cover (from the hand grip to the console?)
no it does not. your stock boot will go over it. if not, take off the boot and show off that shifter . or you can buy a cheap leather boot from a junkyard of autozone
