Tach problems

My thch has been going crazy lately when my engine is not warm. then again it does when it is warm at times to. I can rev to limiter but it dosent kick in and the tach is reading like 8000 at only 4200 then on the next shift range it will be fine. I have checked the tps and various other sensors. I am gonna get a 96 ecu soon (car is a 97) so that is my last hope. I have done the clutch twice in the past year as i broke the first pressure plate into 3 pieces! I checked and rechecked and the problem is not there nor do I have any slipping. I'm stumpped!!

Have you ever taken apart the gear stack? If the speedo ring gear is damaged that can play havoc with the speedo...

You won't need an intake anymore Do some reading on how turbo kits work and you will see what I mean...
