Question Aftermarket Intake Question

I was just wondering, before I install a new one, what happens to the IAT sensor once you install an aftermarket intake. I've been looking at pictures of this install and I can't find the sensor. I see the mass air flow sensor but no IAT sensor. Can someone please help me?

Thanks

Depends on the intake. Hot Shot has a provision for the IATS to mount it in the MAF adapter.

Not sure about other intakes but I believe people leave them connected and just loose in the engine bay.

if its just a WAI then as long as you have the sensor near the filter, you should be fine. It needs to be able to read the temp of the air around the filter, so the closer the better.

Fot CAI... what wes said...
There should be a place to screw it in.
