Question Exhaust question/ new to forum

First of all I'd like to say how glad I am to have ran into this site, I'm in the process of saving some money on things I was planning on buying but found out were worthless through some of your previous threads. I'm curious about the catback exhaust, I bought the sport muffler back in 2002 that nissan advertises for these trucks(frontierSC) and was wondering if there is any diffirence between it and lets say the Gibson catback in performance. Did I waste money...is it a big enough difference that I should can it and go with the Gibson? I just installed a K&N intake and next is a 2.3 pully. Will that nissan sport muffler do me justice?

Well lets just say that anything that nissan is selling for their trucks is overpriced by a long shot... The cat-back on a nissan truck doesnt really improve much! You will notice on an automatic: smother shifting and quicker throttle responce... but not something to go out and buy a couple hundred dollar exhaust system. Gibson will give you a very little amount more but not enough that you should go out and buy it! i didnt even worry bout the cat i just straight piped it to the end of the cab and put on a flowmaster super 40 series muffler to give it a nice deep rumble!

Try "Custom Tube Products"

http://www.customtubeproducts.com/exhaust.htm

I came across it on the web. I've got it with SLR Headers

http://www.spencerlowracing.com/products/

It sounds and runs great. They say the headers are only for offroad but they have the ports (holes) for the O2 sensors, I just ran mine through Inspection and had no problems.
