Unhappy frontier 05 dash board squeaks

I have had my truck in for a squeak (rattle) under the driver side dash board three times. It comes and goes and at times is so loud you hear it over the radio! Is anyone else experiencing a problem like this. Jere

I've not heard any squeaks except when I cut the A/C on, and its never loud enough to hear over the radio.

I have the SAME problem. It sounds like it is behind the radio. I will be taking my truck in for a chk up....in addition to a loud clicking noise. Souns like valves...or it can be loud injectors...is that normal???

dash squeaks

I found that a box just above the gas pedal was rattling so I bent the box away from the mounting plate and the squeak went away.

Talking squeak

Sorry the wife has the digital camera in Canada right now. The box is mounted front to back in the truck. It has a white connector and is mounted to a metal mounting bracket which is not painted. The box looked to be black in color. It is easier to lay on your back and look up there. I actually found it by just tapping on some of the wires, lower dash, and any boxes under the dash. The mounting bracket is thin metal which will bend. There is a piece of foam that they put between the box and bracket which did not look adequate to keep the vibration from rattling. I did this about three weeks ago and have not heard the noise since. The only sound I now here is that sweet motor. Let me know if you still can not find it and I will post a picture when my wife gets back.
