I have a 2005 Frontier LE Crew Cab with the Rockford Fosgate Audio system. How do I get access to the back of the radio to intall a Delphi FM Direct connector? What is the best way to access the antennae connection?
I'm in the same position as nixpa, I have a 05 SE and I need access to the back of the stereo to install an FM modulator. Anyone know how to go about getting to it? I asked the people at the dealership and they told me all the manuals are on CD and I couldn't have access to them.

It's really very simple. Try this link and see if it's any help: Radio Install

I ran across this link in some post in another part of the nissanforums site and was able to track it back down. It has copies of the service manuals for all of the Nissan cars and trucks, and you can order the manuals in books or CD. If I remember correctly, they cost between $100-$200, but if you end up doing a lot of mods or other work yourself, they might be worth it.
To gain access to the radio. First gently pry up the top tray that sits on top of the dash in the center. It is attached with clips. It is best the start at the front sides and pry up with a small flat head screwdriver. Once the tray in lifted up, you will see a center screw. Remove the screw and the molding around the radio and vents will pull out. The bottom of the moulding is attached by clips as well. There are four screws that hold the radio onto a rack. Remove those and then you can pull the radio out.
