98 Frontier 4x4 Running Lights

I have a 98 Frontier 4x4 XE and the problem is the rear running lights are not working. These are the light that do work: rear break, rear turn signal, back up, all front lights. What is the problem?

Fuse?

Correct, double element bulb?

Wiring harness problem (bad ground, broken wire)?

Just some thoughts.

Fuse

It's not the fuse, it has the correct bulb, and the wire is good. The running lights and the brake lights share the same bulb. The brake lights work, the rear running lights do not.

Well, if all of those are good, you should have lights.

I'd get a continuity testor and see if you have power in the parking light wires. If not, I'd work my way back towards the front of the vehicle until you do. If so, maybe it's a ground problem.
