AUTO trans, 98 frontier

Anyone tell me how durable the (auto trans. with 4 cyl) are...on 98-00 frontier PU's? thanks

i have a 2000 frontier 4cyl with auto trany. in my oppinion u cant get better, i floor my truck a lot and rev it up to about 4k and drop it into drive to spin the tires and i never missed a beat

Whats on your odometer? What kind of MPG do you get on hiway and city with your auto and 4 cyl??

srry cant really tell u on mpg cause i went from the stock 215X65R15's to 31X10.50R15's so my speedo is really bad off

but i think i get around 22 to 25 with the new tires

i have around 28k on my truck

the reason i bought this truck is b/c my friend has a 99 4cyl xe which has over 175k on it and runs like new, by the way its a company truck so u know the damn thing anit maintaince like it ought to be.

my friend uses the saying treat it like a rental lol

so i know nissan has done something right


and o yea he said he gets about 26mpg in city and about 29 in hwy
