Unhappy 01frontierSC gas mileage 9mpg

I have a 2001 nissan frontier super charged, and I have been getting horrible gas mileage. I am getting 9 mpg in town. I have no clue what the problem is: Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be
thanks

Sounds like a bad sensor or ECU issue. Dumping too much gas in her. Diagnostic check for sure.

I know how bad gas mileage feels, so I feel your pain

What RPMs are you running at (this is such bad mileage, I think it could be related to the tranny actually).

Do you run the reccomended octane?

Also, the basics are air filter (may need to be replaced), fuel system cleaning (I highly reccomend Techtron, made by Chevron), spark plug fouling (NGK is the name you want to use for Nissan), etc, etc.

I have had this truck for about six months. Do you know of any specific filters that might need to be checked.
