Question SLUGGISH 98 FRONTIER

I'VE REPLACED EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE.PLUGS,CAP,ROTOR,CABLES,O2 SENSORS,FUEL FILTER,KN AIR FILTER.AND STILL SLUGGISH,I WONDER IF IT COULD BE THE CLUTCH??ITS VERY HARD(PEDAL) ITS DUE FOR 1 I WAS TOLD.I'M IN CA AND BOUGHT THE TRUCK IN PENN.AND THE WEATHER OUT THERE I THINK HARDENED MY CLUTCH.A MECHANIC SAID BECAUSE THE CLUTCH IS HARD THATS WHY ITS SO SLUGGISH.APPRECIATE ALL FEEDBACK! MY 92 HARDBODY WAS WAY MORE FASTER AND SMOOTHER. IS THIS HOW THIS FRONTIERS ARE?????
