I have a 04 frontier king cab and the power windows no matter what temp go up very slowly. Anybody else experience any window problems on the 04 frontiers? My dads 01 supercharged crew go up much faster, i would imagine they share the same window components.
the power windows are the achilles heel of the frontier/xterras. I've had my regulators replaced twice in my 03. I guess it's better than being something major!

Hey man! How slow is slow? Are both windows behaving the same? My '97 Nissan Hardbody's power windows don't zoom up and down but they do go up and down without hesitation, grinding, etc. You may try to get aftermarket motors and regulators but it sounds like a lot of hassle in my opinion.
You maybe hunting for something that is not there. Let us know.

My previous truck was a 97 hardbody SE and its windows were still faster than my 04. I was just comparing it to my dads 01 a;though he did have the window regulator replaced on the passenger side i believe. It dosent really bother me as long as they dont quite but they can be very slow at times.
yeah each time, mine were getting slow and making a ton of racket when at any postion other than fully closed. After the dealer fixed it, no more racket and they go up and down smooth and quick.

After 9 months of owning this truck i decided to ask nissan about my windows and they said there were no tsb's on it and that i should just get some spray silicone and lube the tracks.
The silicone made a night and day difference!! I cant believe it was such a simple fix so anyonw expericing slow windows should give it a try.
They go up much quicker and smoother now and no more creaking!
Take a rag and clean your window guides on each side. lot's of dust and crap gets in there. Next, spray that fuzzy material in the window guide with a silicone based lubricant (don't use WD40). Wipe off the excess, should make a huge difference in window speed.
