Frontier Diff cover

My 08 Frontier 2wd has a Dana 44 because of the Manual 6-speed. The Titans have a cool-looking diff cover that is covering a diff that looks very similar to a Dana 44 because of the auto tranny and was wondering if it was. I wanna put one on my truck too. Anybody done that?

The finned covers? Yes, it has been done, not sure about the years though. I do know it fits '05 NISMOs giving you increased capacity and cooling. Also, it's not really a true Dana 44. It's a modified variant with a different spline count (M226), so you may run into fitment issues for lockers and gears. Again, not sure about all the years for the 2nd Gen. Z

p.s. Back in '05 the only models that got the modified Dana were the NISMO 2 & 4WDs, the rest got a C200 or M205.

If you have eight bolts it's the C200 differential, if twelve bolts then it's the same one as the titan(M226). I got my cover for the Frontier from under nissan.

2007 Red King Cab 4x4 Frontier, mostly stock Mag-Hytec rear differential cover with Amsoil lubes and filters throughout.
