Yea, Crutchfield saved me a ton of grief. Turns out that even once you get the right "size speaker". Not all will fit due to depth issues. Besides, when you buy from them, they send instructions taylored to your exact truck to tell you how to remove and install the new ones.

I have the same truck, standard cab and I replaced the factory speakers with Pioneer TS-G1641R 6-1/2" speakers with no problems.

I had bought a set of Infinity Kappa componant speakers for the doors of my 97 HB a few years ago from Crutchfield. They had a manufacturer's 3 year warranty. A little over two years later the wire broke off the crossover at a point where it couldn't be repaired. I didn't have the receipt or paperwork anymore. I called up Crutchfield and they had all the info in their computer. They gave me an RMA# and I shipped them in and in a week I had a brand new set of speakers in the box! Whenever I had questions they were more than willing to help out. You could probably do a Froogle or MySimon search and find some of their stuff a bit cheaper elsewhere, but their prices are usually pretty descent on the whole. Combine it with their service, free instructions and harness adapters and they're tough to beat!
