Warn Hubs Won't Fit

I have a 1998 Nissan Frontier, the hubs are worn out, previous owner did not take care of them. I ordered a set of Warn Locking hubs part# 29091. Well today I got around to replacing them. The hubs do not slide on all the way, the back side of the hub hits the spingclip and washer causing the hub to stop a 1/4 inch shy. Comparing the original hubs and the new Warn hubs the back side of the Warn are shallow compared to the old ones having more depth to slide all the way on.
Is this the only part# 29091 I have asked Warn and dealers and they say this is the correct number.

Above outline is what I mean about having enough depth to slide all the way on.
Not very good pic but best I could do for now.

Thanks
I am calling Warn again in the morning

Checked with Warn and found a rep that gave me a link to a site that shows how the replacement is performed. My error was thinking that the snap ring and washer installed back into their original positions.
Soon as my help arrives I will try again, can't do it by myself, just had surgery on my left hand.
