Hi! After spending hours online looking for info, I decided to join here. This seems to be one of the more informed places to get info about my 04 Frontier 4x4, crew cab. It has the 3.3 v6, and I absolutley love my truck. I bought it new, and have never really had any probs with it. I plan on keeping this truck for many, many years, until it dies.
The info I am looking for is, How do I go about removing the stereo? I have a Sirius plug and play system, and I want to install the FM direct adapter. To do this, I have to remove the stereo, unplug the amtenna from the stereo, plug the adapter into the stereo, then (skipping a couple things) reinstall the stereo.
I looked all around the console/dash, and could only find four screws to start disassembling the dash. One on each side of the console (due to the lack of a better term)kick panel. I also found two beneath the a/c controls.
I just need to know how to remove the stereo without trashing my dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
