I need a new engine in my truck, but I am not having the best of luck finding many to choose from. I have found a few from newer model Frontiers, but will an engine from say an 01/02 model go into my 1998 4x4. They are all the same engines, right?

I have a 98 Frontier 4x4 myself and I purchased a motor from asapmotors.com back in November. It only had 44k miles on it, came from overseas. Fired up first time.

There are a few detail changes in the 2000 and later KA's as compared to the earlier ones, done as part of the "Frenchification" of Nissans after Renault's takeover, but I think complete engines will interchange.
