A/C switch trouble

Hey guys,
I have a 98 Frontier and the fan switch on the A/C is going out. I have a new one, but I can't figure out how to install it. I took that part of the dashboard off to get to the A/C and was only able to get the actual unit out to lok at it about a 1/4 of an inch. I couldn't figure out how the switch was actually held into place in order to take it out.
Anybody have any suggestions? Is there a magic button that I didn't see to get this thing out? It looks like a real pain to replace, but I've heard that it's easy.
Thanks a lot!
