Does anyone know where I could find a step by step guide to installing a new fender? The passenger side of my truck got dented, already got replacement fender straight from nissan dealer $349 and it's primer black..
Can't help you with a step by step guide but if you take your time and start removing bolst and screws you should be able to figure it out. typically remove the bolts along the top endg in the engine compartment last. there will probably be one or two hidden behind the door so open the door and check there. Sometimes the head light and turn signals will need to be removed to gain accesss to other hidden bolts. The inner fender linner will also have to be unscrewed and pulled out of the way to see other attachment points. Remove all you can see and then carefully see if the fender will mose. If not you missed some. When remounting the new fender get some good quality masking tape 9 the blue or green stuff) and tape the edges and any protruding sharp brackets so you do not inadvertly scratch good paint. also be careful where and how you lay the new fender down as people have been known to step on them or kick thme causing damage.
