New member 2x, 02 and 06 frontier. :)

Well i purchased an 02 v6 with all the bells and whistles 3 months ago. I purchased it to pull my new 23' boat which i bought. It was all fine and dandy until it swallowed a full tank in 120 miles pulling the boat! I put some nice rims on it too and tires etc. HID lights and fixed the a/c system. So basicly i dumped over 2k into her only to realise that its underpowered for pulling my boat.

Sooooo...

I got an 06 I saw one with cloth etc and i was happy with it. I was going to purchase it but i went to another dealer ship just to see. Well i ended up getting one with leather, premium system (im impressed!) sunroof etc. I sold my 350z last month so i treated my self to leather in the truck though i was not looking for that initialy.

Well i turned 1k miles 2 days ago and so far my mods are a true dual mandrel bent exhaust with xpipe and two magnaflow mufflers. Next ill be making my own intake too. I might become a vendor on this forum if you guys are intrested in these goods. THe exhaust feels great! I have to work on it a little more so i can get the sound i want. Right now it cracks a little so i will be installing some resonators in the tailpipe area then it will be just right!

I also put a clear bra on it which is great for florida bugs and especialy for the dump trucks that piss rocks out the back!!!

What sux is that i tried installing my 02 upgraded wheels on my 06 and it did not fit.

At my girls house yesterday:

Pulling my boat.

Shes for sale if intrested, has 76k miles 02. Fully loaded, everythine mins leather and sunroof and 4x4.

Here is a picture from the bottom. Yes i know its a poor pic but not bad for a cel phone.

Ive put two different systems on it so far. One using just magnaflow resonators like I did with my z (sounded awsome!). Then my current setup which is two magnaflow mufflers. It cracks some but ill get that fixed next week. WHen i finaly get what i like then it will be a lot cleaner install on the piping etc.

Nice 06! Like the mods already. Yeah, thats kinda a big boat for an '02. We used to tow a 18' Sea Ray with my '02, and that was just ok. That boat looks bigger .

Yeah its a 23' yamaha . What would really kill it was when i would go over a "hill". Hill being a bridge or something because FL is pretty flat.

Please dyno that exhuast... I like the design and am interested to see the gains

Is that mud or rust on your driveshaft? I would hope it's not rust since you should have the aluminum driveshaft on the '06.

Thats rust on the drive shaft! My 350z had a CF driveshaft on it.

Have any of you dynoed a stock truck?

I have less than 1400 miles so its to soon for me to dyno. Once th eengine breaks in well tye # will go up even when stock.
