Unhappy Clutch problem with 97 pickup

I have a 97 hardbody pickup with 145K miles. What seemed to be the the hydraulics
crapped out on the clutch. well.. a new slave cylinder. a new clutch master cylinder, multiple efforts to bleed lines, many calls to friends, several weeks time, and a lotta head scratching later, I still have a clutch that won't disengage. I have adjusted the
pushrod, and seem to have a fairly solid pedal.
The clutch seemed to be operating fine before this, allthough it had stuck in an engaged position once before. No burning smell, no loss of motion, or other such bad clutch symptoms. Please, anyone who could offer sugestions, help me out here. This is getting really frustrating.

Have a helper press the pedal, get underneath and make sure the release fork for the clutch pressure plate is REALLY moving when helper presses and releases.

never know, you may have some broken springs in the clutch disc that got stuck in your pressure plate which are not allowing you clutch to diengage all the way. I've gone through a similar sounding scenario in my 91 hardbody

there is a pivot bolt for the fork that sometimes will snap the head off, might check it

I have seen a bolt holding the presure plate to the flywheel come loose and causing the clutch to stick. the only way to treally find out is to pull the tranny and see what is going on.
