Question 2005 CC Low Tire pressure surprise

I have a 2005 CC 4x4 LE. I was driving my girlfriend home Friday night and after being on the road for about 2 minutes a buzzer goes off (scaring the shit out of me) and the light comes on. I never had it before so I pulled over to check the manual and low and behold "Low tire pressure warning".

I go home and get my moms car, i wasnt going to drive it 10+ miles, especially since its my first truck I bought with my own money brand new, i am going to baby it for a while. I bring it to my machanic the next day and they call me about an hour later.

They reset the correct computer (there are 4, one for each tire). And they checked the tires. None of them had a leak and they all had the proper pressure. They "topped" them off and told me to drive it for a little and the light should turn off.

it did, but does anyone know why the warning light would come on for no reason? I hope this isnt the start of any problems. I have been lucky enough to not have a single issue yet

I had mine go off 3 times so far (in about 10 months). First time it was because one tire was a bit low, no problem - just filled it and no problem. A few days later it went off again, hmmm same tire was low. This time I found a nail.

Then during the winter it went off, which was probably just the drastic drop in the temps screwing up the computer. But hey, in 3 alerts 2 times it was right.

Mine has gone off about 20-25 times since i got the truck in sept. Every cold morning just like clockwork. Then the light stays on for a few days, finally reseting itself

it was about 70 outside all day when this happened. I hope its just a simple bug and doesnt become anything bigger.
