Talking PRG 3.5 inch Lift?

I heard that there was a PRG 3.5 inch lift coming out but I haven't seen anything on their web site. I know it has been mentioned before in other threads but I wasn't sure when it's supposed to come out. Does anyone know anything? I am very interested.

not too sure on the actual amount of lift, but PRG is coming out with a larger spacer. it should be available once the new a-arms are in production. the higher lift will incorporate the the new a-arms and the larger spacer.

his latest post on another board mentioned the spacers were 2.75". he does not mention in the arms give any additional lift but i doubt it. the 2.75" spacer will give more lift and stock wheel travel. the 2" spacer will give slightly less lift and increased wheel travel from stock.

My 2" lift was accomplished with a 1-3/8" spacer (I think...been a few weeks...) 2" spacer should net about 3" lift.

I dont see how you get more wheel travel with the spacer since you still use the stock strut assembly. Maybe the a-arms allow more wheel travel to begin with though....I know I have less than stock right now, not by much though...

you get more wheel travel because there is now more space between the upper spring bucket and the upper control arm; thus, allowing more droop. conversely, using a larger spacer will not increase travel because you are then going back to the stock distnace between the spring bucket and UCA.

nope, you've got torsion bars, the 05+ have coil struts...different suspension design entirely

you could crank your torsion bars and lift the front. remember that the more you crank, the stiffer the ride. going too high will also put more stress on the suspension parts. 4x4parts.com has some suspension kits for the 1st gens.
