See if you can get a part number. I just finished an 1100 mile trip and I am tired of watching the antenna whipping around in the air. My wife even commented on it.

u can use the stock or cheep replacment or for a couple bucks more (75$) u can get a power box antenna, they sell them in alot of audio shops, i bought one from "curcuit city", it plugs in the same but u wire one wire to a pos. lead and another to ground, it elimanates any antenna outside the car with better reception too, its NOT a antenna booster that u see selling everywhere for 10 dollars or so, i bought one of those- useless

got2envy,

How is the reception with your antenna? I like the looks of it and might go that route.

I was looking for an antenna to replace the ugly stock one but I got impatient and modified the stock one. I cut it in half and stuck a 223 round on the tip. The reception wasn't noticably degraded and I kinda like the way it looks. Maybe a would be thief will think twice when he see's it too!

Hmmm, I like that, however, the .223 is to small for me. Might stick one of my 30-06 on there....

Imajes,

What year is your friend's Spec-V? I'm thinking of going with that antenna.

You could also try sourcing the Navara antenna:
