Poor Quality Front Bumper

The underpart of my bumper it crooked lol. I just noticed this. The way the bottom part sets is perfectly straight, completley even on both sides from the top bumper. However, the left side goes in more than the right. So its perfectly aligned but it is like 1/2 an inch farther out on the drivers side. I have never hit anything at all and its like they forgot to add a spacer or added one on the other side by accident.

Do you think the dealership will try to say I hit something? Can yall check out ur front bumpers?

Edit: the part thats crooked is the chrome part that holds the 2 fog lights.

Hmm, my gap between chrome and painted bumpers are identical on both sides, it just pokes out 1/2 inch more. and a 1/2 inch is alot!

i do agree. it is a pretty weak bumper. have you tried to push it back to its right place. i used a highlift jack and padded it with towels and lifted the side that was lower and left it up for about 10 min. it was back in its rightful place.

Bumper

My bumper is the same as yours. Out at the top on one side and even with the body on the other. You do have to go looking for it to see it, so most people will never see it.
I was a bit upset when I saw it at first and I looked for a way to adjust it. But there isn't an easy fix from what I saw. So when I take it back to the dealer for some service work, I'll inquire about it. I'm not sure I want to spend the time waiting for them to adjust it though. It depends on what the service manager tells me and if I get a loaner while they have it.

Mostly I've learned to live with it. It poses no real problem and doesn't mean the bumper is of poor quality. Just that it was assembled poorly. Other than this item my truck has been just fine.
