I guess if I wanted to be "optimistic" about the rising gas prices; I could be happy that they are still holding the $0.10 increase from 87 to 89 to 91 Octane.
At $1.25/gallon for regular, premium cost 16% more than regular.
At the current $2.89/gallon for regular, premium now costs only 7% more than regular.
I figure the more they raise the price of regular and keep the difference in octane rated fuels a consistent $0.10, I'll be getting 89 and even 91 Octane at a bargain
