I towed a trailer this week

I had to haul some material this week for a friend on my trailer.
The material weighed about 3800lbs and the trailer was about 800lbs.
The truck pulled very well but stopping was a little nerve racking.
I would recommend trailer brakes for sure but since that was not an option this week I went without!
I will consider larger rotors and pads when it comes time. Other than stopping I was impressed with the ability.
My last ride was an 04' Ram Hemi and I would have to say My 05' Fronty pulled almost as well.
FYI

I would never recommend towing anything over 3000lbs without trailor brakes...but it sounds like you came out ok.

Yeah, everyone who drives my truck comments on how well it stops when its just people in it....theres a reason for that

yeah that much weight really requires trailer brakes, regardless of the tow vehicle
