Those of you looking for a bed cover may want to check out the Extang RT. It fits both Crew and King Cab models. The product is heavy duty and covered by a lifetime warranty. I personally like this product over the traditional over the rail covers. Those tend to have problems with the corners curling up like my friends truxedo. Easy to install and rolls up in 10 seconds. I found it at autoanything.com on sale from $399 to $330 with free shipping. The only draw back with this cover is for those who have a bed extender. The only way to put the extender back inside the bed is to swing the extender towards the tailgate and slide back inside using the utility track. Otherwise, the cover does not interfere with the utility track. Here are some images I took: http://home.bellsouth.net/p/pwp-frontierdenny.

That Tonneau is kickass. I think thats the way I will go. Low-profile and no bow lines. Mind shooting some more detailed pics of rolling it up and the bracketry to attach it to the Utilitrak? Does it Velcro down on top of the bed caps or what?
So I have it narrowed down to the Truxedo Lo Pro and this cover. I have the bed extender, and from what I am understanding they both will interfere with it. I am leaning towards the Extang RT since it is a more flush appearance to the bed and it looks like the rail are slightly less intrusive.
Any comments or pics would be appreciated on the mounting brakets and interferance with the extender.
I installed mine last weekend and it is absolutely fantastic. I cant see any soft tonneau beating this one in anything except maybe price.
The side rails are very easy to install. The only downside is they make it tougher to get the Utilitrak cleats into the rails, but they will just make it if you rotate them in.
The best part is the way the cover attaches to the side rails. There is a long support brace at the front of the bed, which slides into place and two quick brackets lock it in. Then you just roll the cover out and the integrated cross braces fall right in place. At the end of the bed you just rotate the end support brace downward and it clips into a latch. You can adjust the tension of the cover quite easily using the adjustment screws near the front of the bed. Just unlatch the end, adjust the screws, then latch it down again until you get the tightness you want. Then pull the sides out and smooth out the Veclro.
No joke you can install or completely remove the tonneau cover and all braces in a couple minutes. The only thing left on the bed is the Velcro side rails.
The design is positively ingenious!
Couple of things to note:
- When you install the side rails, install them flush with the tailgate as the instructions say. This will leave a gap at the front of the bed (which will seem wrong), but this is actually perfect for lining the seal up on the front of the bed and will prevent rubbing on the cab. It also makes sure you line the rails up the same so your tonneau will mount up straight.
- You'll need to unlatch the end brace before closing the tailgate or it will squish the rear seal. Once the tailgate is closed just press firmly on the drivers side of the end rail and it will lock down.

In all honesty, I like the warranty and looks of the extang. I have a friend at work with a Truxedo and I don't like the way the edges pull up. The vinyl looks cheap too. Read the user reviews on autoanything.com. That helped me make a decision.
With regards to the bed extender, both covers will limit the usage. Luckly for us Frontier owners, the utility track allows us to slide the extender back inside the bed. The only difference is the position. With the cover, the extender will be facing towards the gate as if you were carrying a load that requires the extra space. You won't be able to flip in the reverse position like for carrying groceries or small cargo.
I've contacted Extang regarding the extender. After several days of communication they suggested shaving a bit off each end of the rail. They claim it will not comprimise the cover however they did stress the warranty on the rails will be voided. I plan to take more pictures of the cover rolled up and the extender position.

Just wondering, is your problem with the extender the width when it is rotated up, like the angle needed to remove it? If so and it is the OEM one, the extender can be adjusted to make it narrower. Loosen the Torx screws on both of the center most braces so you can evenly compress its width. After that adjustment is made you may need to also loosen and adjust the outer braces to relocate where the rubber feet meet the channels on the bed floor.
Just incase it needs to be said, check for smooth operation, binding and such as to avoid any usage issues in all positions now rather than say, in the rain or dust storms/heat like here in the Valley of the Sun.
You may also want to index the original width by marking both sides of each of the smaller diameter center sections of tubing. These marks will be hidden once you compress the extender inside of itself.
On another note, if others are having issues with the extender not sliding easily this procedure can also be used to increase the width. Just adjust accordingly and check for proper fit and operation.

That's a great tip. Mine is juuuuuusst a hair too wide and conflicts with the factory hard tonneau in a couple of locations. This ought to do the trick. Thanks!

You are welcome. I was hoping I could eventually help someone on this forum. Just seems to make more sense then bending the brackets or cutting/permanent modifications. Ask if interested in a separate post as to not hijack this thread and I will try my best to explain.
As far as to the original post, in regards to extender interference, if it is too wide due to bedrail mounting intrusion, chances are the adjustments I mentioned earlier can remedy that, but I don not have any personal experience with those brands.
Not that I recommend the mods to do the Roll n Lock canister tonneau, it can be done with full utilization of the OEM accessories I have even though the retailer and manufacturer said it couldnt be done... Enjoy

I also have this same cover... I am very happy with it. Autoanything is very easy to deal with if there are problems, one rail was bent and the rubber weatherstrip was ripped about 2 inches long from the material. They sent me out replacement parts right away and didn't want the old ones back.

I have not had a single moment of free time to try it out yet. Real life intrudes on Nissan fun . . .

Can anyone explain to me the actual problem they are having with the bed extender? I have a Extang Blackmax and a flip out bed extender positioned at the end of the bed (tail gate) and have no issues flipping it out when I need it.

I think Q-Tip was having a problem with his extender scraping the sides when rotating the extender near the position where you can remove it. In my reply to Denny06 I had mentioned that the OEM extender can be adjusted narrower. Actually wider too. I'm not perfectly clear as to their exact issues as I do not have the same type of tonneau. Mine is a rolling canister type. Should be OEM sliding extender.
