here is my newb post.

I have the 3.3L its got 23K miles on it, 5 speed only mechanical thing done so far is a K&N drop in. I upgrade the brakes this week.

how do you all like your trucks? I am also new to imports. are they really that much better than domestics? all my friends told me to get an import and all my research led me to nissan or toyota.

I have always had imports, Toyota Camry, then an SR-5, and now a 2005 Frontier. I have to say I like imports much more than domestic. My uncles ford lasted about 100,000 miles before it had serious engine issues. My toyota SR-5 had 250,000+ miles and aside from body rust the engine was still running perfect (my mechanic also kept commenting on it, he thought I had alot less miles), I didnt have to replace anything except for parts I broke myself by accident (radiator and the clutch, my sister took it while i was at school and she didnt know now to drive stick, I poked it).

I have to say I am very happy with my nissan so far. Not getting the best MPG but I hope to once it starts getting warmer and I start driving longer distances. but over all, have no complaints yet.

I added some body stuff onto mine, brush guard, tail light guards, windo vents. Then some decals and stuff. I also added a Extang blackmax cover to the bed. I decided to stop doing some moding until I save up money and find out what I want to do next. What will you be doing with your truck? that will really help figure out the mods you might want to do.

i will be throwing large items to rebuild homes into it. so i just want some more power mainly. i already de-stickered it. cosmeticaly i want some bigger tires on the stock wheels if i can. um a skid plate with the front bar guard, NO nerf bars or step rails. i wouldnt mind having a meaner looking truck, not like 4x4 raunchy, but a bit on the randy side lol. is there a reason i cant post attachments yet? i want to put a pic up. i dont think i want a huge grille gard maybeye just this,

My 98 has been great to me. I bought it new to use for pizza delivery and have had very few problems. It now has 234,000 miles on it and uses no oil between changes ( Well..now that I replaced the crank seals and oil pressure switch) Still has the original engie/trans, brake hydraulics, rear axle, steering box, etc.I get 24MPG right now, and have left it almost completely stock. My only real deviation is the stereo , and a set of Energy Suspension end links for the sway bar that I installed when I was tired of breaking the crappy ones Nissan uses.
