Help with a new mod for my 05 CC

Hi all, I have an idea for a mod but have no idea how to go about it as every path I take is a dead end.

I really like the wind fairings on the 04 and earlier frontiers (the black board at the front of the roof rack). I was saddend when the 05s didnt have them, so I was thinking of trying to put one on myself.

I looked at yakima and the others and none of them look at all like the fairings on the 04s so I guess I have to build my own. I am not very mechanical with tools, I hurt myself too much.

I am note sure the material (I read bad things about many materials, like plexiglass and such) to use or how to attach it. I swear I saw someone on one of the nissan forums with an 05 with a custom fairing but I can remeber. I want it black like the 04s and I want to be able to put white writing on the corner (where then "nissan" is on the older ones). I looked and the 04s and stuff wont fit the new 05s so I cant mod one of those, the 05s gap is bigger.

if anyone can please help it would be great. now that its nicer out I can spend the time outside and do this.

You probably just could use a sheet of aluminum. However, you would need to take it somewhere that had a sheet metal bender to get all the bends right....
