Question OEM Fog Lights

Going to pick up my OEM fog lights today from my dealer and as I understand, there is the wiring harness plugs below the headlights already in place. I've got a 2006 XE, and I was wondering if the wiring from the plug to the steering column runs thru a relay? My dealer parts manager does not know! I was wanting to use the existing plugs and harness and tap into the wiring at the steering column and route it to a rocker switch. Also I was wondering what all I have to remove to get to the back side of the light openings in the bumper (facade)? Has anyone added the fog lights without changing out the turn signal, bright light switch? I's not the chrome bumper, it's the painted one.
Thanks in advance!

From what I have read, if you want to be able to turn the fogs on and off, your going to need to get a replacement turn signal. Or I guess you can connect them to a new switch elsewhere but you will have to replace the turn signal if you go that route.
