'05 Frontier KC, 4 cyl. 2WD-Drive Shaft Issues

Went to the dealer on Friday to have a metallic clicking noise from the front wheel areas investigated and was advised later that the problem was an issue with the drive shaft or a collar on the drive shaft which they could not address. The service mgr. filed a report with Nissan engineering tech support to find out what needs to be repaired or if its necessary to replace the whole shaft. Won't know anything until next week; but they tell me its okay to drive. I'll report what I find out.
