I drive a '92, so it may not be exactly the same, but I suggest looking under the hood. Mine is an in-line filter located between the inner fender and the engine on the passenger's side.
When replacing it, just remember to de-pressurize the fuel lines first. You can do this by pulling the fuel pump fuse while the engine is running. This will empty the fuel lines and stall the engine. Once the new filter is in place, just start it up again. It may take a second or two longer while the fuel lines charge up again, but it'll go.
Have fun (just remember NO SMOKING!)
