Just bought a 2006 Frontier

And I'm stoked.

I'm starting Law School in the fall, so I wanted to get something that was under warranty and more economical than my old truck ('01 Dodge Ram) while I'm in school. I was looking at the chevy/gmc as well, and the Frontier blew them out of the water - After my test drive there was just no comparison. This forum was very useful while I was researching my choices the last few weeks, so thanks all.

I bought a Black 2006 XE King Cab, with the 4 banger and 5-speed transmission (the 6 would have been awesome, but I'm going for fuel economy while I'm in school). I did get the preferred package and power package though, so it's not bare bones. About the only thing that I wish I had that I don't was nicer wheels rather than the 15" steel ones that came on the XE, but I can deal with it. I'm also going to be looking for a good towing hitch in a few months, and I'm sure I'll be asking questions on these boards while I'm breaking her in, so bear with me.

And pictures will be forthcoming. I only took delivery last night, so no chance yet.

Keep an eye out on eBay for the SE wheels. They show up pretty regularly (often with new tires on them where people put different wheels on their new truck).

Also, I'm 99% sure Pathfinder/Xterra wheels will fit, too.

Welcome to the forums, by the way.
