emergency brakes, this happen to everyone else?

I have a 2000 and my buddy has a 2001 Frontier. We have both had problems with our emergency brakes sticking. I took a look at mine and it ended up being a pivot point at the rear drum where the cable attaches that was rusted and locked up (on both sides). His had the exact same problem. I was wondering how may others have had this problem? I talked to the dealer and they said they hadn't seen this problem. It looked as though the pivot point should have had some high-temp grease on it from the factory, even though it is covered by a rubber boot. I found it quite odd that BOTH of ours had the same problem and no one else has. Mine was so bad that the drums were dragging even when the brake was released. All replies welcome!

My 97 had this problem also. I only noticed it when I started using it, once I fixed it I used it just about every day and it did not happen again but then I also got rid of the truck 5 months later....
