Help me out, might be buying one

I'm thinking about dumping my 2000 dodge cummins. Cost of diesel, quality, reliability, etc. I need four doors (small family) and 4wd. I own a '96 sentra and love it, no problems. Is there anything I need to watch for on used Frontiers? Especially 2000 and 2001. Give me the pros and cons?

'
thanks

I bought my 2000 V6 KC 4WD last summer with 107,000 miles. I still have my 1994 V6 hardbody with 200,000+ miles and it runs and drives like a champ still. Replaced timing belts on both trucks last summer. Not a hard job, just time consuming. The second truck took half the time of the first because even though the trucks are 6 years apart, they are nearly identical to work on.

Remember though, the frontier probably will get nearly identical mileage (or worse) to your cummins. Those diesels can get like 20MPG on the freeway. So you'll be burning just as much fuel, just its a bit cheaper. Not to mention you'll lose your ability to tow 12000 lbs
