frontier towing...

hi,

I'm new to the frontier world and have a question about towing.

I just bought a 2004 2wd XE-V6 Longbed and have seen two towing specs on several sites for this truck. A few say 3500lbs and a few say 5000lbs. Does anyone know the correct towing limit for this truck? or are they both correct (one without a towing package and the other with one?)

thanks
-Me

If you have a manual trans its rated for 3500lbs.
The auto is rated for 5000lbs.

nah, something to do with cooling. manual with some cooling system that U-Haul can install will make it on par with the auto.
